The egg biscuit sandwiches are amazing, but grab more than one if you're hungry. The buckwheat pancakes are good but like all buckwheat pancakes, not for everyone.
Went to the breakfast buffet for my first visit, today, with a group of five hungry rock climbers.nnGreat service from a friendly staff, the food came quickly and all together, and every order was perfect.nnWhile the decor may not thrill PETA members, and the menu might not thrill vegans, it is authentic to the area. Franklin was founded in the late 1700s, long before bandwagon diets or crowd-sourced ethics got in the way of good eating.nnThe crowd that filled the place is a testimony to the food and service. Very family friendly.nnPrices are comparable to any other decent eatery. Plenty of parking at curbside and across the street.nnWe'll be back!
Never stayed here but the front desk staff were very friendly and accomodating to my special needs requests for a short visit.
Takes way to long to get your food cold. Wait staff sitting in dinning room on phones.
The wife and I really like this place. We plan our grocery trips from Monterey to Franklin around either late breakfast or early lunch here. The prices are low and portion sizes are generous. The food always tastes great. And, the staff is friendly. We've never had reason to criticize anything.
