Yet another example of the hidden gems you can find in small towns. The food was absolutely amazing, and the staff were very kind. The blooming onion actually had a lot of onion in each piece- unlike most restaurants, which have more breading than onion! My club sandwich was worth the price, and was filled with meat and cheese. The building had a nice interior and a very friendly atmosphere. Easily one of my top five restaurants- would go again!
I’ve ordered meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and every single one was fantastic! My favorite is the breakfast entree called “The Hollow” absolutely the best breakfast I have ever had. 5 stars for awesome food, cleanliness, and great atmosphere. Keep it up hollow team!
Food was hot and good. Ashley was our server. Polite and welcoming. The restaurant was spotless. We have been back 2 x already.
Nice selection and good value. Drove from Staunton to Franklin for a Sunday drive. Thought I would try this local restaurant. The staff was friendly and food plentiful. I ordered 2 chili hotdogs with fries and it was more than I could eat. My fiancee ordered Salisbury steak, which they made on premise, and it was delicious (she let me have a bite). They also make homemade pies.
We had Chili Dogs and Steak & Cheese today on our visit to The Hollow. Definitely recommend stopping in for a meal here. Service was prompt and attentive as well.
