Great spot for families and family reunions. Beautiful property. Hiking trails. Family style dining room. Limited internet and cell service which is a benefit for a lot of people. Limited A.C. so sleeping rooms can be warm in summer months but fans are provided.

I did not get to stay there but I did get to meet numerous people that work there. they are some awesome people, we camped in the campgrounds and would come down for water and have great conversations the history on this place sounds awesome and I will be looking into it more on my way out I came through cape on springs and I blew a transmission line on my motorcycle barely coasted down into cape Town springs and these great people that work there helped me out with a can of transmission fluid they had got the bike running enough to get back up into the mountains to the other side to where I could get to town and get more the first part of our trip that morning is pretty tough but all the people in cape Town springs that helped us and checked on us in the woods in case we were broke down I sincerely appreciate it to find good people like that is very hard nowadays every conversation with them was a good one would love to come back and see him all again enjoy

We went when the boys were little and it was awesome. They had a little farm with pigs. The boys were toddlers and loved them. We rowed out into the pond with the little ones as well. It was different from all of out previous and subsequent vacations but we LOVED IT

We have held our family reunion at Capon Springs for decades. It is excellent for that purpose - activities and spaces for all ages, someone else does the cooking, and no one has to be host. Other families come the same week, so reunion with them is also part of the pleasure.nnThis is an old-fashioned, unpretentious, mountain springs resort. The spring-fed bathing pool is the heart of the experience for me, within the beautiful mountain setting.

Capon Springs and Farms is a great get away for people of all ages. I love all the activities you can safely play. My family was just at Capon last week. We swam in the pool that is super refreshing, played shuffleboard, cards, ping pong, and enjoyed going for walks to see the pigs. It was fun to explore the woods and see the beautiful scenery from the pavilion next to the golf course. The food is delicious and plentiful. I highly recommend a visit to Capon.
