No one answers the phone for my wife to set an appointment to renew her Portuguese Passport, so we just drove to the consolate. Door closed, we call the intercom, somebody anwered, but then she hang up even before my wife has done stating her name and purpose....waited almost 10 minutes, no one opened the door or came down to open us the door, untill another lady arrive and ring the bell again. When we finally get upstairs a lady did not even let us in, we are told they are bussy, we need to call in a particular day to make an appointment first. Portuguese consolate!!! I think you can be better than this!!!

This is the most horrendously run organization in the entire world. They make the DMV seem like paragons of customer service. They are rude, arrogant, and as unhelpful as possible. I thought that their service could not get any worse but they strive to find new ways to excel in this. COVID 19 has given them the opportunity to make life even more miserable for people as they have managed to add a 5 mo wait just to make an appointment. They never cease to amaze with new levels of ineptitude.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I had such a great experience there. Everyone is so easygoing and truly wants to help people. I don't understand how anyone could leave less than a 5 star rating.
