I paid over $15k for custom made Eastman St. Woodworks kitchen cabinets from a local kitchen/bath design center here in NY. The maple cabinet sample with dark brown glazing in the design center was stunning. I wanted them and ordered them. While I understand the glazing is done by hand and expect ever so SLIGHT imperfections, the craftsmanship on the majority of the cabinet doors and drawers was appalling and it's unconscionable how these cabinets passed quality control and were accepted as being of high quality craftsmanship and ready to ship to customer worthy. I am in negotiations with the design company from which I purchased the cabinets to have all of the doors and drawers replaced with the same cabinet doors and drawers minus the glazing. Will try to post photos of the truly unacceptable and sloppy craftsmanship. I am right handed and could have done a better job of the glazing with my left foot.
