Uinta Mattress - Formerly Diamond Mattress

I called this company ready to purchase a mattress. However, I was told that as a private customer I could not buy a mattress because I was not affiliated with another company. This is fine, but Nick was very rude when I called. Based on my single interaction with the company, I would not recommend this company or buying a mattress here.

Bought multiple mattresses from these guys. A couple are now 17 years old and feel just like new. I’ll be back soon for a king bed!!!

HORRIBLE place. I called and spoke with a salesman 2 days before I went in because their store is about an hour away from where I live. I told them exactly what I needed (I needed a custom mattress for my RV). They gave me prices of 2 different mattresses and explained to me the difference. I thought the prices were fair so I showed up and Nick was completely unprofessional. When I told him which bed I was most interested in he quoted me a price almost $250 higher than what I was told just 2 days before. He told me that whoever told me that does not know what they are talking about and he was sorry. I told him sorry does not pay for my gas to get down here. Sorry does give me back the time that I lost. Again he said he was sorry and there was nothing he could do. I even had proof of the prices I was given. When I told him I was going to take my business elsewhere he said "you think you can find a custom mattress for cheaper". I told him I know I can. Later that same day I bought a custom RV mattress 60x72 for $400 including taxes. Plus the mattress I purchased elsewhere was softer, had thicker memory foam, included a cool gel memory foam and had a better warranty. Stay away from these guys. They have no clue what customer service is. The first guy I spoke with on the phone was great but when you get there it is a completely different story. They will jack up the prices at least 35%. Trust me there are better options out there for a custom mattress or a regular sized mattress. You would think getting it directly from the factory would be cheaper but that is definitely NOT the case here. From reading the reviews here it looks like if I had dealt with Ernie (owner) maybe my experience would have been different. Unfortunately I had no such luck. I will never go back. Completely wasted my time and could not have cared less that they did.

Inherited an antique wooden bed frame. What fun to discover it is not a full size mattress. In fact, after a quick Google search I discovered it was probably a 3/4 size (the full size of yesteryear). Also, I was missing the mattress rail supports. So I'm running around town, in the hardware and mattress stores. Trying to figure the cost to have 8 wood rails cut to size and where do I find that size mattress? Most important can I afford it?!? I didn't want to spend a bunch of money. I ended up hearing from 2 different people, at 2 different stores, I have to go talk to Ernie at Diamond Mattress...he can hook me up. Called him on a Sunday and I met up at the warehouse in SLC. He knew exactly what I was talking about, all I had to say was "antique bed frame". He made me my 3/4 size mattress and all 8 wooden rails for a great price! The mattress is so comfortable and I'm excited to keep grandma's old bed in the family. I had such a great experience, the mattress is perfect (size and comfort), price was good, and he's wonderful to deal with (very pleasant and helpful). I had to take time and write a review. You cannot go wrong dealing with Diamond at any level.

I bought a California King for my wife and I and we loved it so much we came back to buy twin beds for our boys. Unfortunately, the boys are all over 6' and needed extra long beds. Not to worry!! Ernie showed us what we wanted, put extra support around the edges for a VERY minor upgrade price and shipped them all the way to Saratoga Springs for us. Even took them upstairs and put them together. Outstanding Customer service and we highly recommend this friendly, helpful, Customer focused business. Well done Diamond Mattress!!
