So far I am still 'having the experience' it's like dealing with 'LIGHTS ARE ON AND NOBODY IS AT HOME, MY FILE FLOATED AROUND FOR 3 WEEKS, i FINALLY HAD TO COMPLAIN TO THE OFFICE MANAGER, received my legal forms to sign in a day, signed and returned them hoping that things would move forward, I keep calling but I get no return from my 'assigned attorney' it's like. is anybody home??? so far I did all the leg work, supplied how to deliver the warrant on August 31st as the defendant would be in court that day on another charge, still nothing, I called September 1st once again talked with the office manager Carol Lambert, so nonchalant this time, my attorney was in a meeting but she would send her a message right now and she will contact you today, and you should be receiving a letter also. So far nothing , IS ANYONE HOME???

This place is a joke. They don't willingly provide the assistance they claim to and are rude to victims. Office staff is INCREDIBLY RUDE.

Very disappointed within this company I called regarding my job forcing me to quit, they claimed there was nothing they can do which may have been true but the way these people talk to you is just awful on top of the reasoning of discrimination! They say they will get back to you and never do! An experience I will never forget and I hope other people looking for help get the help they need from them!

The Legal Aid Society refuses to assist with Court-related abuse and harassment. Which happens when one party in a family law case uses the legal system or repeated or ongoing legal actions to harass and abuse the other party.nnrepeatedly threatens to go to court to get parenting orders;makes multiple court applications, sometimes at different or wrong courts, to get, change, or overturn court orders;makes incorrect court applications;files affidavits just before going to court, knowing the other party doesn't have a lawyer;makes trivial court applications;humiliates the other party in court using a history of his or her health problems (for example, post-partum depression or mental illness);lies in court about actions that didn't happen, such as adultery, to cause shame to the family;makes false claims, such as denial of parenting time, contact with a child, or access;gets friends or family to write false affidavits, or self-inflicts an injury to create evidence of abuse that doesn't exist;makes up a crisis to get into court quickly when the other party doesn't have a lawyer;uses court delaying tactics to cause financial hardship for the other party, often in cases of child support, or makes multiple settlement offers to deliberately add to the other party's legal costs;isolates the other party from the support workers/lawyers, or threatens or pressures advocates, lawyers, family members, or friends who are helping them;uses public services, such as the police and child protection workers, to make false accusations (such as denial of access);shows police out-dated court orders to gain access, which can result in the other party filing unnecessary court paperwork and giving the abuser time to get a court order; orconfuses the situation by pretending to be the abused person when police are called, or charges assault when the other party is defending him/herself, or forces the other party to drop charges and then uses that in court to prove the other party is lying.nnI have pictures of this very issues on their website. Yet, they refuse to even take an appointment.

The Legal aid society of Putnam county, will help you any way they can if you are ever issued an eviction notice by your landlord.
