We've used Athens Moving Experts 3 times since moving to NC. They always show up on time. They take a lot of care to wrap everything with furniture blankets and pack things carefully in the truck. The guys always work very hard throughout the entire move, very efficient. For oversized items, they're great at figuring out how to disassemble and re-assemble so they will fit through doorways. Also, great rates!

I want to commend the professionalism of the lead mover and both other movers. They were very accommodating to my requests during the moving process which is greatly appreciated.nnAlthough I was displeased with some of the damage that was done to a few of my furniture items, I also recognize that accidents do happen sometimes during the move process. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Mike for taking the time to actively listen to and validate my concerns. This is very important and goes a long way in my perspective. It is a good example of the quality customer service provided by this company.nnI certainly also greatly appreciate the monetary compensation for the damage as well. It was very generous and beyond expectation. Based on my overall experience, I recommend Athens Moving Experts to others looking for a professional, courteous company to handle their moving needs.

If I can give 10 ⭐ufe0fI would, they were awesome, mo and the rest of the 4 man crew were great. They weren’t cussing around my wife or kids, no vulgar talk, very fast hardworking group of guys. I moved from a 3 bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor to a 4 bedroom new house that we just bought. They did the whole thing in 5 hours!!!

As someone who has moved 7 times in the past 10 years, I can't recommend these guys enough. Mo, Abdul, and Noor were FANTASTIC!! This was the first move that I've had to execute completely on my own, making the process daunting- however with Athens it was a breeze and made the whole process so much more bearable. I've always paid top dollar for less than satisfactory moves in the past and Athens was the exact opposite-- they provided above and beyond service at less than half the usual price I typically spend. The gentleman were extremely prompt and showed up 5 minutes ahead of schedule to begin their inventory process/walk through of my home so it wouldn't take away from my allotted 2 hour bid. They were prepared, professional, and moved QUICK. They made me aware of everything they were doing along the way and offered different alternatives towards ways I could pack certain items to save time, space, and ultimately money. I'm amazed that they were able to move my 1800 ft home into my new residence within the 2 hour time frame. This company is worth your money and your items will be looked after and protected with great care. The gentlemen even went as far to help me position things in the new home as well, as plug in my washer dryer with the few spare moments we had left over. Take it from someone who has moved with just about every company in the triangle--Athens is the best service for the most affordable price. You won't regret working with them! Would give 10 stars if I could.

The team of Shawn, Jalen V. and Dwayne did a most excellent, efficient and courteous job for us. When it comes time to move our furniture back, we will definitely request the trio. They are polite, humorous, and very strong. We needed temporarily relocate a large sofa bed and a piano. They came well prepared, and did a great job protecting the furniture being moved as well as the surroundings. I would highly recommend Athens moving. Not only for their moving staff, but the entire process, from my initial contact with the front office to closing out the transaction, was efficient and professional.
