Can never go wrong at this place. Have you tried their chocolate cake? Almost 3lbs, the chocolate cake is very rich but satisfying for chocolate lovers. Enjoyed best with coffee and in small slices, but definitely worth a go for a special occasion.
This bakery is the best one in Cary in my opinion! Love their tomato basil bread, and banana bread..the best! Nice atmosphere, and you can sit outside for a light lunch. Enjoy going there for their pastries also.
I remember occasionally getting chocolate croissants from La Farm as a treat when I was a kid, and they are just as good now when I buy them for myself years later! I usually just stop in for pastries and a coffee, but I got the French toast last weekend when having brunch with a friend and it was great! A couple of days after that I got a pumpkin cinnamon chocolate chip scone that was absolutely AMAZING! I’ve heard good things about their pizzas, hot chocolate, and other products but have not tried them myself.
La Farm loaf had big holes in the middle! Taste of bread was good but soft in the center like it had been frozen. Apple torte looked delicious but the only flavor was sweetness. Really weird. Didn't appear to be fresh. Flavorless! Beautiful store but there were people not wearing masks. Spent $45 and disappointed. Long drive to stock up.
The food was just okay. But I hope the owner sees this. You need to update your online menu and your in store menu. I went for the first time to your establishment to get the brunch BLT which states online that you get potatoes, scone and a fruit. But once I was in the store I was told you have indefinitely paused brunch. Then I looked at your in store menu and decided that a half sandwich half soup would be best and was told you have stopped doing half sandwiches. If you are going to alter these things update it so people don’t go in expecting one thing and getting another. Very disappointing. I don’t think I’ll be back because I am just unsure what I can even expect to receive.
