Came from out of town for my wife's birthday and ordered this gorgeous cake that tasted as good as it looks! Also while we were in picking up the cake we tried the pastries and they're to die for! Danish, bear claws, turnovers, everything we got was incredible and I couldn't be happier we found this place. Next time we're in Waynesville or Asheville I will make sure to come back!
I am trying to find anyone that makes Crepe Cakes. They have become a phenomenon nationwide and I can't find anyone who makes them. I am hoping Kandi's does dur to the reviews. If anyone knows, please let me know. Happy New Year!!
Not that they need any more fantastic reviews, but this place is awesome and I try and stop in every time I pass through town. I sampled 10 different items, all moist, flaky, flavorful, delicious and fresh.
Attractive, unique, and delicious. What more is there to say? Quality and talent shines through in both the store arrangement, selection of baked goods, and taste! No bread or rolls (except sweets)but delicious creme horns, danish, cookies, and cake pops. Pies come in large and small. Cakes are basically to order but you might get lucky. A long term asset to Waynesville, don’t miss it on your visit!
Beautiful and delicious wedding cake for my daughter and son-in-law.nPicked up a few other treats too. Everything was wonderful.nThe cake was reminiscent of the old Whitman’s bakery, which was special and nostalgic for my daughter since we used to get birthday cakes there when she was little.
