Ok service

Never a manager on duty. Never anyone in paint. Had a problem with a coupon and cashier was belligerent and rude. It was her fault the coupon didn't work. Manager was incredibly rude, unhelpful, and condescending. We returned everything and left. The Lowe's on Wendover is so much nicer and the employees are so much more helpful.

Great customer service by Sydney in the flooring dept!!! Really love knowledgeable, helpful associates. HOWEVER when I went to the self checkout at the front, it was a TOTALLY different experience at the Battleground location. Noticed the 2 men & associates having a discussion at the checkouts, but minded my own business. Long story short, the LOWE'S associates were very UNPROFESSIONAL and NO ONE tried to diffuse the situation. The men asked for the manager at least 3 times because this older associate clearly was arguing with this customer and imposing HER personal opinions. As a Lowe's employee, yes she is to follow company protocol and guidelines. But, she was CLEARLY not concerned with that, especially when another male associate stepped up to help diffuse the situation. The men asked was he the manager and the male associate stated No, but what can I do to help? The older woman associate told the men that he was a manager, a department manager, like to prove that the male associate was lying. I felt that the male associate was correct in his statement and she should've NEVER stated anything else. Her statement made it seem like the male associate was being dishonest to the customer and wasn't trying to help them. She should've summoned the HEAD MANAGER like he requested and calmed the now front end shouting match. She don't know ANYTHING about customer service professionalism and how to assist customers in a helpful manner. Her lack of training caused other customers to have a poor shopping experience at this Battleground location and that's a shame.

Has always been one of my favorite hardware places. Great place to buy garden needs and just about anything else.Sometimes I see too many workers all together when I need one, I have to go looking. There used to be one in plumbing that was excellent. Now, when you get a salesman, well, I guess he does the best he can. I do not remember the last one but he was black but very smart. I hope he got promoted. He deserves it.

We purchased a lawn mower over a week ago. They said it would be delivered the next day. It did not come. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday or today. Now they are saying tuesday! We literally have to go out of town this coming week. Horrible customer service. Lowe’s has went down hill drastically. It’s surreal how bad their customer service is.
