Carlos was wonderful! He was kind and even though I messed up he was gracious enough to not charge even when I was ready to pay because it was my mistake. I'll definitely be back the next time I need storage!

They did it again! You can’t trust Cube Smart. I’ve been renting their largest unit for a year now. Supposedly when you reserve a unit either online or in person – it locks in the rate at the time of the reservation. When I first reserved this unit a year ago the price went up between the time I reserved the unit and actually moved in. I was charged the new higher price despite having the reservation at a lower price. The same thing just happened again. I wanted to switch units and had one reserved. Again, the price went up a day or two before I was to move in and I’m being charged the new higher price. The rates have gone up twice just in the past two weeks so it seems there’s a reasonably high probability of this happening quite often and to many people.

Huge #shoutout to Carlos at the Cube storage on US 70 in Durham. Super friendly guy with a heart of gold and knows amazing customer service. He's an asset please keep him happy. It's clearly he loves his job.

Don't rent from here. I have had a smaller unit and needed a larger unit. They quoted me $188 which I accepted, but when I showed up to sign the new lease agreement, they changed price to 250 and refused to honor my existing discount. Im in the middle of a move and based on their 188 quote, I declined another storage option and couldn't get it back.nnWith the uhaul loaded, I had to stay with cube smart and rent a smaller unit which didn't fit all my belongings. But I will be finding another storage company as soon as I can.nnI had the quote in writing but the guy at counter blamed his colleagues lack of company policy knowledge for the 'mix up' and said the computer wouldn't process the price.nnIf you have time sensitive concern, don't put yourself at this kind of risk. Find another place.
