I am visiting my father-in-law(90 years young) and I saw the article in the Sunday Sun Journal of Michelle ‘s lifetime achievement of Trademarks on her biscuit, name & logo! When asked where I wanted to eat - I stated “The Country Biscuit”! We enjoyed our meals - Dad -biscuit & gray, me- small spinach, mushrooms & cheese omelet, grits & biscuit! All delicious! Worth every penny! Good service, clean, pleasant atmosphere. It is going to be a favorite every time I come to New Bern from Maryland.
Staff was super friendly and helpful just seemed overwhelmed when it got busy real fast around 9:30 am. People who were seated well after we were received their order long before we got ours. Not enough silverware was prepared for the rush they experienced. I had to go to the counter to get it. Food was delicious and I would recommend this restaurant. They just need to be ready for whatever comes their way.
Pretty good. Ton of hash browns. However, they were not cooked brown enough and no onions! Can't believe people eat them with no onions!!! Scramble eggs were just right! Sausage was pretty good. Outstanding service!
A place to feel right at home here in america. Just like my maw maw used to make. Amazing service and a happy and playful team! Cant beat the prices and you'll come back craving them biscuits! Grab your next meal here on your way down to the beach.
The country biscuit is a great breakfast place. Everyone there is very polite and waitresses and staff do a lot to keep the place clean. The food is outstanding.
