I am not one to write many reviews however this place deserves to be recognized by everyone visiting Southport. This is a must stop place..the variety of treats is incredible, and they are nothing short of delicious. If you truly enjoy sweets you will not be disappointed no matter what you order! The prices are also incredible!! The staff is welcoming and bringing the southern hospitality!
Such a find. Delightful staff and delicious baked goods. The croissants are the best thing I have had in a long time. Perfect stop between the ferry and Ft Anderson.
Mitch and his team go above and beyond for their customers. The filled fried croissants are amazing! I have yet to try the cakes/ice cream, but every time I am near Southport this is a sure stop for my family. Try the chocolate filled croissants when you stop in, you will not be disappointed.
Came here for the first time and I will definitely be back! I ordered. A dozen macaroons assorted as well as a dozen assorted glazed croissants. Everything is baked fresh daily and you cannot go wrong with anything in that Burney’s has to offer. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. If you have not been to Burbey’s, I would highly recommend this place especially if you’re in Southport. The glazed croissants were baked fresh and still warm when I got them. Next in my list is to try a cake and some of their ice cream. Until next time!
By far the best bakery I have ever come across in the many cities I have visited. The environment is very welcoming, and the staff treat you with care. My personal favorite are the Cinnamon Sugar croissants, and chocolate filled croissants are certainly a close second. The fillings are absolutely amazing, and are the perfect mix of sweet, and richness. The tiramisu was amazing as well, and constructed with the upmost care, to ensure it held together perfectly until it meets your mouth. I can definitely recommend you come visit this superb establishment, whether you're a resident or a visitor. You won't be disappointed!
