Stone Washed Salon

My experiences at Paul Mitchell Stone Washed Salon have always been wonderful! The atmosphere is very inviting and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Many thanks to Andy for doing such a great job of taking care of me the past few years! She is extremely professional and always takes the time necessary to ensure that her clients are satisfied!

Very friendly staff! They cut my hair exactly how I wanted it for summer. Can't thank them enough!

I've been going to Andi for haircuts for a little over a year now. I visited her to fix a bad haircut I got from another local hair salon. Up until recently, she's cut my hair perfectly. Which, is the only reason this isn't a one star review.nnI decided to get a half-shaved head hairstyle but have it layer down in the back until it reached the full length. I could tell Andi was nervous, but since she has fixed my hair in the past I decided I'd ignore that, big mistake.nnI was specific in that I didn't want my scalp to show through my hair, so no shorter than half an inch. Well, she started to shave my head.... buzz cut style. Great, can't fix that. Okay, I decided to ask her to try to fade it towards the back. She spent almost 40 minutes trying to fade my hair. At that point, I knew there was no getting the haircut I wanted as my hair was now too short, so I told her to just shave it the same length where she had already cut it short. She did that and it looked okay-ish. She trimmed the side of my head with my hair still long and I was satisfied even though she cut her finger while doing it... I did one final look over and thought that the back looked a bit uneven and asked her opinion. She told me it was just the shape of my head, the hair created a shadow, and it's straight. Alright, I took her word for it.nnI went home and looked in the mirror because my ear was itching/aching. It turns out my ear was cut near the hairline. The hairline around my ear had many long strands that weren't trimmed. As well, the hairline for the shaved portion was long in some places.nnAll of these issues I would have let lie if not for the fact that the back of my head was, in fact, uneven like I had thought. I can't fix the back of my head by myself so I got my friend who grooms dogs to do it for me and trim up the uneven bits. I lost all trust in Andi because she lied to me about my hair. If she didn't trust her ability to give me the haircut I asked for, then she should have told me before she took the clippers to my head. I would have understood. Instead, I have to wait a few months for my hair to grow out enough to where I am happy with my new hairstyle. I don't think I'll be returning to this salon. What a shame.nnP.S.nnWhat the hell google review.... can't upload my pictures correctly. I included a photo of my cut ear and a front view of the hairstyle. I don't know why it keeps repeating the other two images and ignores those. Oh well. Maybe it'll correct itself.

They got me in quickly and Kelly did a great job on my hair!! I will definitely be back!
