Cold Stone Creamery

Went in to cold stone this evening to take my son for his last ice cream trip. We were just about to walk in when we were rudely asked to go back outside and wait (there were 6 people inside). We walked back outside without hesitation and waited. We finally were able to walk in and was met by terrible customer service. We asked for a smoothie and one of the employees said okay and the other yelled across the store “we do not make them past a certain time” we stepped back in aw of the rudeness and decided to forget the smooth and continue with our purchase. The last straw was when an employee threw my sons ice cream on the counter. I have been to many cold stones and this was by far the worst one.

This place is terrible...they lost all their good workers and has been problematic every time I arrive. Just clueless and shady workers now. Don't order ahead of time bc it won't be ready, they'll make sure you are the last one they help.

Staff refuses to serve people with disabilities. They are beyond rude and outright demeaning. Laughed in our faces and told us they “didn’t need our money”... I’m sorry, you obviously don’t understand how you get paid. This is why you have a terrible 2 and a half star rating and it’s still dropping. Since this interaction was in video I’ll be contacting my attorney to explore legal options.

Several issues with this company and locationn1. Overpriced, at least 30% more expensive than places like Andys, Sheridans, and Baskin Robbins. I had 2 small creations and 2 regular creations and it was over $28, ridiculous pricing.n2. Price doesn't match the quality, most of their ice cream flavors are underwhelming and the mashing of ingredients into pulp basically makes most toppings not stand out or add anything to the flavors other than more sickening sweetness or a tad bit of texture.n3. Employees at this location offer subpar service. Out of the 2 times I went this week, no one gave me a proper greeting (a smile and how may I help you is a basic). I was rushed when there were no other customers around and no one answered my questions about their menu items when I asked, I literally asked 2 or 3 times and it was like speaking to a wall.n4. Cleanliness and hygiene is lacking. When making my ice cream the previous ice cream on the cold stone was only partially cleaned off. My 2nd visit my ice cream cup was dropped on its side on the visibly dirty countertop by the register with my ice cream touching the countertop, she also brushed my ice cream on my 2nd cup on the corner of the register and both times she pretended to not notice and didn't offer to remake. After putting on lids the cups had ice cream spilling out of the sides down the cups and instead of the employee offering to clean them since obviously she was the one that made them that way she pointed to the napkins and told me that was there for me to clean them. Also they ask if you want to tip them at the end of the transaction which I find very tacky and a way to pressure the customer to tip on their less than stellar service.

I went into the store to order a Super Mario birthday cake for my son's birthday party 5 days before the party. I arranged to pick it up at 6pm Friday. I went in to pick it up at the agreed upon time and was told they couldn't find the cake and that the manager quit the day before and they didn't think the morning shift people made it but they weren't answering their call. The woman working asked me if I could come back at noon the next day. She said they could make the cake that evening and she would decorate it in the morning. I agreed to come back. My husband went to pickup the cake the next day at noon and again they did not make it and told him they couldn't have made it anyway because they topper wasn't available. For the second time they tried to get us to buy a different cake they already had made. The cake was for a 5 year old who doesn't want another cake, only the Mario one he was told he was getting! They never once called to tell us they couldn't make our cake so we wasted gas driving there twice and my son who had his heart set on the Super Mario cake that is being advertised all over their website and in their store, didn't have a birthday cake. The customer service we received was horrible!
