Went to Smith Island by boat and docked at the Bakery. Darren and his family were most hospitable! They helped get us a golf cart to rent and crabs for dinner. And oh the cake is amazing. We brought back four for friends and family. Loved the chocolate peanut butter and the chocolate with chocolate, however we liked the lemon and orange even more! And the coconut is to die for! I think the orange with chocolate as the top icing would be an interesting combination!nnThank you for the great experience.
Wow! You want the best cake in Maryland? Smith Island Bakery is the place. Amazing staff and great products. They also feature local artists in their store front. Would highly recommend for a tasty treat. Thank you for the delicious cake.
Amazing place. Friendly employees and delicious cake! They even sell local handmade jewelry, soaps, and art pieces.
What a little gem! We tried Smith Island cake from a couple of different places during our trip and theirs was by far the best! (Chocolate covered strawberry and blueberry cream... yum!). Such a nice family that was so nice and helpful with suggestions for our weekend too!
