You must follow up on each stage of your services and internment of your loved one. Lake Lawn lacks professionalism and empathy. Lake Lawn tried to cancel a funeral which had already been paid for and scheduled because Lake Lawn forgot, after having had 10 days notice, to get the necessary burial consents and then, the afternoon before the funeral, notified us the funeral would have to be cancelled. Meanwhile, relatives were travelling in from out of town for the funeral. Fortunately, despite the stress caused, after appeals to top management, we were finally able to hold the funeral on time.
I was very please with the knowledge and care I received. It made a sensitive event more comfortable.
They are the most genuinely caring people. They have called to just check on us after our loss & sent a very sweet note. Thank you so much to Sharon & Lola.
Guy Poche, who was our funeral director, is just a stellar person. He met our every need perfectly and with such kindness and grace, helping us to craft an event that was truly meaningful in the context of my father's life experiences and legacy. We are left with wonderful memories of an incomparable gathering of everyone whom my father loved, and who loved him. Thank you, thank you! I cannot recommend Guy Poche and Lake Lawn Metairie enough.
