Question: Is there any way that I can find where a relative that was buried here in 1964? I know that she probably shares a grave with many people by now but if could at least know where she is that would be helpful. I tried calling the number provided but it was out of service.

Well maintained by the city, this is one of the few cemeteries in the city where none of the dead are buried above ground. This is for the indigent and poor, but does house some of the famous who became destitute by the end of their lives. Very eclectic memorials stand out. Come and say a little prayer for these souls.

Holt is a cemetery for the indigent and poor. Many homeless people are laid to rest here. It's beautiful in its own right with it's personally made grave markers made from anything such as PVC pipe, beer cans, and planks of wood. It's one of the few cemeterys with in ground graves. So many unmarked graves are scattered throughout so when new graves are dug human bones are unearthed.
