This was my very first time visiting this historic site. What I found to be the most interesting, is it’s architectural tombs. So much time, and Effort was put into each design making each tomb and tomb stone, one of a kind. It was like being transported to a different year.... perhaps the 1800s. I’ve never been quite as intrigued as I was here!nnI would definitely recommend taking a light stroll.nnThis site is free and open to the public. You will encounter at least one pan handler. They come with the territory. He said he worked for the cemetery and was asking for donations. I wasn’t carrying cash on me but he inspired me to donate to the cemetery via their website so all was well.

Beautiful cemetery, grounds are well kept, although several tombs have fallen into disrepair. Fireman's section in front and some extremely ornate tombs. Right off the streetcar line so there is usually people wandering around.

To find the secret of death is to seek it in the heart of life. A owl whose night bound eyes are blind unto the day cannot unveil the mystery of light.nnOpen your heart into the body of life; then shall you find the spirit of death, for life and death are one.nnThe fear of death is the trembling of a shepherd when he stands before the King whose hand is to be laid upon him in Honour.nnTo stand naked in the wind and free the breath from its restless tide so it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered.nnLove is truly known!
