Another great sessions. Walked out feeling so much better..

March 10, 2020nToday, I stopped by the Medical Spa of Baton Rouge as a “walk-in” to purchase the exfoliate polish by “Zo Skin Care” because it was highly recommended by a friend. I would like to start off by saying that the customer service I received was less than satisfactory. The woman at the front desk, Sheran Duncan, was not helpful or welcoming. Her tone was brash and she seemed annoyed that I was there. She started off with a random lineup of questions before finally revealing that she was trying to get an idea of my facial cleansing routine. Generally, a dermatology consultation consist of questions involving “what skin issues one may have” or “what one may be seeking as far as beginning a new skin care regiment”, but she proceeded to go about it all wrong and was only asking me what products I was using. The brief consultation I received was somewhat condescending and she appeared to be passing judgment when I told her that I use a moisturizer after I wash my face. Ultimately, I made the decision not to purchase anything and left. I could tell by the woman’s demeanor that she could not care less about getting my business as well as the low grade quality service she was providing or lack thereof. As a potential customer, I felt that she could have been more tactful in her approach. Good Customer Service involves having excellent communication and social skills as well as respect for others.nI know for sure that the Shamlin sisters do not condone this type of unprofessional behavior from their staff and I will promptly inform them of this incident as soon as possible. As far as the recommended product in which I initially came there to purchase, I was able to locate it at a different dermatology clinic.nNonetheless, my friend felt comfortable enough to recommend their products however, I rated this establishment 1 out of 5 stars based on the customer service. What I have experienced today was a huge turn-off for me. Let this be a reminder that it is important to value quality over quantity.

This spa is phenomenal! From the minute you walk in until you've completed and paid for your service you feel truly cared for and pampered. The estheticians are exceptional at their craft and the ambiance transports you to bliss. They've provided the best spa experiences I've ever had !
