Was supposed to tum the truck in on a Sunday morning. The parking / return lot was full. No one in attendance, phones went to voicemail. Thank goodness for the cleaning lady! She got some one in charge who sent down a courteous, fast working young man who quickly cleared the lot and made it possible for us to conclude business.
Monday morning I got a message that I was being billed $37+ for about 4 gallons of diesel, because the tank was not completely full!
We were billed because we had to put on extra mileage due to finding a safe place to get the truck out of the traffic on a busy street, because the drop off point was inaccessible.
The truck itself rated a 5. It was clean and obviously well cared for. No complaints on that.
People are friendly respectful. Helpful through all of it. I have rented twice from this company and have had no issues.
Always use penske
I reserved in advance. I got two confirmations. I drove 93 miles to pick up the truck and they sent it out with Someone else. When I finally got a truck hours late it had a car hauler attached instead of a tow dolly . So it cost 150 more than the dolly. I got back to Elephant Butte at 1230 instead of 900 and I had no help. They left. The house closes tomorrow and I'm up a creek without a Patel. This one cost me
Nice new truck by it had problems. When I picked it up the RF tire was low on air. The Home Depot employees told me I was on my own to find a place to store it up, it was 27psi low. The truck pulled to the right now strongly causing hand, wrist and arm pain after fighting it for 15 hours. Then, last but not least, I continued to get an assortment of Check Engine, ABS and Traction Control lights and alarms the last 7 hours of my drive. Again, nice new truck but something should be done with their pickup locations.
