Used to be 5 stars for years. Now that they have self checkout they lost their edge. We have been going to Publix either here or near our house in Florida for over 30+ years. Never minded paying premium prices to support the store and its wonderful employees, now I'll be going to Kroger or Walmart, same distance from our house but has a better selection and is less expensive.
I have been going to this Publix location for over 15 years and they have never failed to provide quality product and exceptional customer service. The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is a noticable difference in cashier training between the 'day shift' and the 'night shift'. If possible I will always choose to go during the daytime hours due to this discrepancy.
The employees are super friendly however at this point in the game I cannot believe they allow customers enter without masks. I also saw an employee not wearing it while stocking items. I am not shopping at Publix again any time soon.
Always a pleasure shopping in Publix. Friendly staff clean store. Great please if you can afford it.
