From the follow up/communication to the customization of every fine detail, this team was top notch. We worked with Jeff on the design and construct of our kitchen island. He is passionate about his work, extremely knowledgeable, fun to work with and very responsive. Our install was equally impressive. Chris, John, and Jeff came to our home and were kind and respectful. There perfectionism was evident as they spent time and effort ensuring the final product was impeccable. We would recommend against the grain to any friend and/or family and we would absolutely use them again for another project.

We worked with Jeff on a custom island top as part of our kitchen renovation. We initially met Jeff at the shop so we could look through different samples and he could talk through various options. He was so kind, informative and helpful with each interaction and was very patient as we ran into some cabinetry delays that impacted his ability to install our top. The finished product is stunning and exactly what we were hoping for to finish out our new kitchen. Highly recommend Jeff and his team.

I highly recommend Against the Grain! Jeff and his crew built me a gorgeous live edge table. I had an idea of what I wanted and Jeff was able to deliver. He kept me posted on every stage of the job by texting me pictures and inviting me over to the workshop to take a look at their progress. Throughout the process, Jeff always had a positive attitude. When the table was delivered, Jeff and the crew were enthusiastic, and I could tell that they took pride in their work. As a bonus, they delivered the table earlier than expected. After it was delivered, I noticed a tiny area that needed to be addressed and Chris came promptly and made my table flawless! His attention to detail speaks volumes to me as I am a super picky person. Against the Grain is a top-notch company and I would not hesitate to use them again.
