My Dad is buried in the upper Veterans section. Nobody cares for the Veterans section. Many of the older grave markers in the ground for distant war casualties are long forgotten, overgrown at the edges. I go twice a year to clean up my Dads headstone and pay my respects. Usually on Memorial Day Sunday when is quiet nobody having their picnics in the other sections. Clean up the bird poop on the Bird Colonel's gravestone. He isn't actually buried there in a casket. Just some ashes in a vial.
