Very knowledgeable staff. They answered all of our questions we had about hot tubs. Greg was very knowledgeable and definitely helped us make an educated decision on spending our money on the hot tub that best suited our needs and wants. Mr. Fireplace provided exceptional service!! They let me know the price beforehand and stuck to it, texted me when they were on the way, arrived on time and performed an outstanding job on 2 older fireplaces and a dryer vent. The technician was very knowledgeable, wore protective shoe covers and kept us informed as he moved from each appliance to the next. This is a 20 year old “new house” for us and 2 out of 3 of those items turned out to be hazardous. One fireplace was not sealed properly and was emitting carbon monoxide and the dryer vent was filled with lint. The technician fixed everything and we now feel confident in using these features. After leaving, he even called to remind us he had left the back slider open to ventilate the room. So happy we found them! Thanks for a job well done!!

My experience with this company has been absolutely terrible. Please steer clear of them and look for other options. They are deceiving with their pricing and the technicians are completely disconnected with management.nnHere is a brief synopsis of my experience…nnThere was a minor gas leak on the shut off valve inside the fireplace that was found by Florida Gas. Florida Gas referred me to Mr. Fireplace and assured me that they could fix the problem. I spoke with Tonya and explained the issue and asked if they could replace the valve and fix the leak. She said yes so I booked the appointment.nnThey arrived and determined that the valve was leaking (which I already knew) and explained that they cannot fix the valve because they do not have the license to turn off the gas at the meter. Of course I was irate because they charged me $129.00 to tell me exactly what I told them on the phone and what was determined by Florida Gas. There is a leak at the valve. After arguing with the receptionist, she agreed to waive the $129.00 not because I was right but to avoid a conflict.nnI then called Eric the Gas Man who was an absolute pleasure to speak with and he agreed to come take a look.nnWithin the hour, I receive another call from the Mr. Fireplace service manager who said that they can now fix the valve and will be there tomorrow. This is after the receptionist said they would lose their license if they turned off the gas.nnWhile on the phone with the service manager, I ask what the cost will be and he explains to me that it will be $129.00 plus the cost of the valve. I ask how much the valve is and he does not know but I assume it’ll be around double what home depot charges ($8 at home depot). So I agree to let them complete the work.nnTechnician arrives the next day and explains to me that the total cost is now $129.00 + cost of valve + labor for a total of $219.00.nnNothing like what was explained to me on the phone. $129.00 plus cost of valve.nnMy father-in-law had the same kind of experience with this company and opted to go elsewhere and I should of done the same but oh well.nnIt’s really not about the money, I just want a fair upfront deal and this experience was nothing like that! Crooks.
