I was very excited to go back into this location after being remodeled and I always knew the food was great. This is the first time in my 50 years that I can honestly say that customer service, food presentation was great but my eggs scrambled with cheese was too hard. The food flavor was not good there is a first time for everything. I knew that Mary was no longer in the back. Will I return of course with hopes of a better visit next time.
Look, I love Miss Jeanette but you're not going to find better food anywhere in Suffolk, Smithfield or anywhere else on this side of the water. Period. Now you tell me where else you're going to go and find herring for breakfast or liver and onions or fresh collard greens or potato salad like your grandmother makes? You tell me where you're going to get real ice cream. While you're waiting and looking, go on over to Holland's Bakery and get you some. They also have liquor, wine and beer, do catering and private parties. Curbside and party platters also. And I'm hungry again thinking about it!

Excellent, excellent food. Great service. Clean and COVID safe. I felt safe eating there and perfectly pleased by the entire experience. This’ll be my first review of a restaurant ever. They deserve it.
