RVA Body Works Massage & Waxing Studio

I have been seeing Ashley at RVA Body works for massage therapy at the recommendation of my doctor. I recently was given a clean bill of health and in remission from cancer. I also had surgery and Ashley provided specific treatments to help me recover and I felt refreshed and renewed after every treatment. Just a FYI, I was able to pay for it with my Health Savings account. The environment is absolutely clean and professional. I have recommended RVA body works to my family and friends and I look forward to my next appointment.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!. I called several times and no one answered. You have to leave a message and someone calls you back. It seemed that they take more clients, or offered more GROUPONS, that they can handle because they claimed they cancelled my appointment days prior. I thought customers were suppose to be contacted if something changes, well I did not receive a phone call. I was told that they communicate via email which is not true because I never received it. I was also told it goes to SPAM...Really! I had no idea because once again i was not contacted, and I ended up on time to my appointment. No one was there and I had to call the number AGAIN and leave a message to let someone know I was there for my SCHEDULED appointment. I was informed that they did send it to me and in so many words it was my problem that I did not know not to come. I was practically argued with on two different phone calls about the cancelled appointment. It was not my fault. I was not given an apology, or asked if there was something that they could do for my inconvenience. I was only offered another day for a massage. As a place of business, someone should follow up with their PAYING CUSTOMERS when something on their end was the cause of the cancelled appointment. In my opinion 1 STAR is 1 too many for this place........I would not recommend to anyone. I'm in the process of getting a refund!

Bought a Groupon and tried for months to get an appointment. Called unreliable times. Left messages because no one ever answers. Call we're never returned. Tried to contact through web site multiple times and no one ever responded. Ended up having to get Groupon to refund.
