This is ridiculous! When they tell you to allow them at least 45 days to process your medicaid, believe them! My daughter is 1 year old, we just recently moved to VA and I'm in need of getting her in daycare here but the only delay is her insurance...
Keep in mind that, like the IRS, to have sweeping across the boards cuts to their budgets means they get understaffed. Then the remaining staff gets overworked. It's not their fault. I work with my staffer and she works with me. I have no complaints so far.

Went for my Mom who had terminal cancer. Take way too long to give you any assistance. She passed away the day they awarded food card. Never used it.
