Visited on Easter Sunday so they were very busy, we experienced a longer than normal wait time and there were not enough seats available for my 93yr old aunt,and my 88yr old mother to sit while we waited for a table. The food was good although not as warm as I would have liked. Service was excellent. I have been there when they weren't busy and the food was excellent. My advice is if it's busy so that all the rockers are full outside come back another day
Dinner was fine. Seated soon after arrival. Server prompt to provide service. Simple meal selections for three, brought out soon after order was taken. Two orders of Greens (turnip leaves with bits of ham) and Beans ( pinto ) with a side of fresh cut yellow onions and chow chow relish. Mmmm good! The third party ordered grilled chicken strips along with cooked apples. All meals tasty and filling. Good variety of food selection to choose from that is similar to home cooked.
This was a very unprofessional environment...almost embarrassing staff needs PROPER training.
Good food. Little slow on serving
The trout my husband got was excellent! The corn muffins are too hard. The last time we got them they were hard as a rock so no more muffins for us. The apples were good but the pinto beans were not done enough. We stopped getting the mashed potatoes because they were undercooked also. The biscuits are awesome!
