The employees of the food distribution center are extremely rude , and look down on individuals just trying to receive assistance. I took a client there to get pandemic assistance and the gentleman who took her application was extremely rude to her for absolutely no reason at all. It was extremely sad. Being she was the last and only person there can’t even credit it to him being busy. It is extremely saddening that people have to feel demeaned by Travis Adkins just to receive old outdated foods.

I stopped at this place for assistance with food because my Girlfriend and I have hit a financial snag and find ourselves in need of help. The first 5 minutes in there the man had an old man arrested for handing out religious material. Anyway, My girlfriend recently broke her leg at the tibia and fibia. We had to purchase a wheelchair and Walker that her insurance would not cover so we are having an issue with finances. I went their on the advice of a friend and was totally aggravated and embarrassed by the way I was treated by the gentleman that runs the pantry program and to make matters worse, the food that we received was inedible. The 5 apples were old and rotted, the 1 mango was rotted, they gave us two bags of potatoes and they had a few that were rotted and moldy. They gave a package of fajita steak that was outdated and the cake and other snack items were stale and outdated. Other than the 4 can goods they gave us nothing else was edible. I am unable to post the pictures of the food but I will be talking with the people that run this organization and I will also see to it that the media is made aware of this place. I would not go to this place for assistance with food ever again.

I like to stop be occasionally good prices for preowned goods. But I love most about them is all they do for the community.
