First time at Kess. I called the salon at the last minute on a Friday afternoon and Rovina fit me in. She did a great job with my hair and gave me exactly what I wanted. Parking was available right in front. Will definitely return.
COVID preps on point! I had a haircut by Royston on 10/22 and as usual, he did a fantastic job and I love it. The salon is well setup for avoiding transmission of COVID. All clients have temperature checked at the door and sanitize hands before getting into the salon. There are large (and pretty) panels between all service seats including where hair washing occurs. All staff are well covered and the usual multi-use gowns have been replaced with single-use plastic covers. They are happy to have you wait in your car and will come out to get you when ready although waiting is usually not an issue. They thought of everything! Thanks so much Kess and Royston!
The owners and staff of Kess Salon were friendly, professional, and very experienced. My hair is naturally curly/wavy, and Rovina knew exactly how to work with it. In this time of pandemic, they are doing a fabulous job of implementing safety protocols that include temperature checks, COVID symptoms check list, plexiglass dividers between stations, hand sanitizer, disinfecting ink pens as soon as you use them, disposable smocks for customers, and mandatory masks 100% observed by both customers and staff. I really appreciated going to a salon that not only offers quality service and products, but also actually implements the necessary safety protocols.
I absolutely love this salon and haven’t seen anyone else in over 10 years. Royston is professional and friendly and does a fantastic job with my hair every time. I had not been back to the salon since the Covid lockdown began in February and I felt completely comfortable being there today as they took all the right precautions. This included temp checks, sanitizers upon entry, disposable gowns, plexiglass dividers, and contactless payment (Venmo). I was there for about two hours for highlights and styling and the staff was extremely cautious - getting close only when necessary and providing ample distance otherwise. I can’t say enough good things about this salon and the entire staff that works there!
