Normally we visit the Juan's in Newport News. The service was fine and the food was great.nYet the ambiance was not as nice. It smelled heavily like cleaning solution.nThe menu prices were also way more expensive which was also surprising. Definitely not going back.
First time we tried juan's and was not real impressed. Called in an order for pickup is done quickly and get home we expect to be cold however we don't feel like it had much flavor. We will give them another try when we can set in an order. So my rating is kind of neutral right now
The employees were very cordial, and the majority of the food is great!nMy suggestion, if you're taking one or more friends, would be to get the Big Juan! It's an absolutely delicious burrito of seismic proportions; filled to the brim with beans, rice, chicken, pork and beef; all of the meat was tender and fresh and it's big enough to feed at least 4-6 people with leftovers. My only complaint is that when you order a side of guacamole the amount you get is much less than it used to be.
Great lunch yesterday. The resturant was not busy at lunch. The order came out quick and was delicious.
We ordered take out. The service was medioker at best. The food was good, though standing and waiting for my order, I certainly noticed the large number of folks streaming by me for dine in without masks was a bit alarming.
