Awesome food and dessert for a great value! From the moment I checked out the eclectic menu online I could tell this wasn’t your run of the mill cafe, and when the food came out it was more than I could’ve hoped for. Everything is made from scratch in house I believe. The meatloaf sandwich is surprisingly light and so delicious. The ham biscuits are out of this world- packed with flavor. And the carrot cake was the best I’ve had. I’m from NYC and do a fair bit of traveling and dining around and can say that the Carrot Tree is a rare gem with from scratch and original dishes you won’t come across in other establishments. Stop in, order anything on the menu and I’ll bet you leave happy and will be back soon!

I have known about Carrot Tree since Glenn would deliver baked goods to be sold at a place I worked when I was young. I used to live right down the road from the original location and visited many times. I moved out of the area but still work in and visit Williamsburg, and had breakfast there today. First time back in 8 years and it's still the high quality, made from scratch excellence it has always been!

Love the kindly staff and delicious food. Most recently we felt like a club sandwich and shared the “Not the Polo Club”. Exceeded expectations. Orzo with spinach and feta is a favorite as is Brunswick stew here. Finally decided to go with the pistachio mousse cake slice and a Frazier (mini strawberry short cake) for dessert. Happy Dance, Happy Dance! Thank you Carrot Tree!

For a number of years I’ve been blessed to be able to enjoy Carrot Tree Kitchens during visits to Williamsburg. Thankfully, various healthier menu options are available for people like myself who prefer to minimize the amount of carbohydrates in their diets. My late father was longtime Williamsburg resident and a major proponent of Carrot Tree Kitchens, and I remember a group of us being able to safely assemble there last November following his Memorial Service. Thanks to the owners and staff at Carrot Tree for offering a high quality experience for us all!
