Look at this cake! Karen’s work really speaks for itself. The flowers on the cake are all edible, hand crafted, and look just as realistic in person as they do in this photo.nnBeyond the wonderful work she does, Karen herself is very easy to work with. She has many years of experience and is able to pull together whatever design you may have in mind. Her cakes are also delicious.

Our experience with Karen was above and beyond! I emailed her with not much time before my wedding, and she was quick to respond and answered all questions I had. She scheduled a time for us to sample the cake and everything was DELICIOUS. It made me that much more excited for the wedding! We drew up a detailed plan of the vision for the cake and she blew it out of park. It was better than I even imagined and we were so happy with the results. We held our reception at a different location than the ceremony and she came to ceremony for photographers to photograph and then took it to the reception. She went above and beyond! The guests ate ALL of the cake and had only good things to say. I will be recommending her to everyone for their weddings. The best experience!!

My husband and I had a very last minute wedding to plan and we were able to get everything settled with Karen in just one meeting, flavors, design, dates...every detail! A concern we had about our wedding cake was having a beautiful cake that also tasted as amazing as it looked and that was not a problem with Cakes in Art. All of the design options and flavors that Karen had for us to sample were on trend and so unique. The only issue we had was that our guests loved the cake so much that we didn’t have enough for seconds. We even had the topper of our cake to save for our first anniversary but it was so good we had to have it the next day!!

Karen is so wonderful and her cakes and treats are INCREDIBLE. As a wedding photographer I get to sample LOTS of treats and I've NEVER been to a wedding where EVERY SINGLE bit of desert was consumed EXCEPT when Karen is the master behind the yummy treats. Seriously, every wedding that my couples use Cakes in Art there's no desert left (and there is PLENTY provided) and the guests are always saying they wished they could get thirds. Her artistic ability in her craft is remarkable. Those hand made sugar flowers and intricate designs just blow my mind. She is so creative and just a beautiful person all around. Did I mention that EVERYTHING she makes tastes incredible?!?!? I'm always excited to see my couples book with her. GREAT addition to any wedding vendor team. xoxo

I’ve known Karen for nearly fifteen years and always dreamed about her making my wedding cake. I was thrilled that she was available on our wedding date to make our cake – it was stunning and we are still receiving compliments on it! Working with Karen to design our cake was a very smooth process. She is great at making recommendations and offering advice but does so objectively. For instance, we weren’t sure if we wanted buttercream or fondant, fresh flowers or sugar flowers. Also, who doesn’t love cake tasting…so fun and delicious! We chose a traditional almond cake with lemon curd filling for our anniversary and second tier and champagne cake with lemon curd for the remaining tier. It was so delicious and I’m already thinking about having a slice on our first anniversary because, regrettably, I only had a few bites on our wedding day. By the way, if you are considering adding flowers to your wedding cake, go with the sugar flowers. Karen is a very gifted cake designer and makes the most exquisite looking flowers…each one is a work of art! We loved our wedding cake, love Karen and I highly recommend her!
