I have looked forward to my birthday cake from Paul’s EVERY year for the past 20 years but this year my brother called to order me my usual chocolate cake with white icing and he was told they don’t take cake orders anymore??! They told him he had to come in and pick one of their pre-made cakes from the case. Oh and they don’t make full chocolate cakes!!?? They only have yellow and half and half! He was told to get there early too because they might run out! I can’t believe this is the same Paul’s I’ve LOVED and raved about for years:(. We always get our “custom order” cakes here and stop in often for their delicious donuts. So disappointed about not getting my fresh chocolate cake for my birthday this year..
They also sell one pound bags of FRESHLY roasted, whole bean coffee. I have been coming to Paul's Bakery for almost 50 years. I grade them better than all other bakeries I have been to in the United States, and many I visited in Europe.
A great local donut shop in Fredericksburg. One of my all time favorite Boston Cream donuts!! Just a short hop off of I95 when travelling South or North.
The lady there said THE OWNER ONLY TAKES CREDIT CARD THAT'S HOW HE WANTS IT I DON'T HAVE ONE VERY RUDE
Paul's has the best donuts in the area been coming there scents I was 7 year's old. The people are very nice.
