Anton's Movers ???? Boston - New York Moving Company

I used this company for an in-city move two years ago. I waited to write this review until after I had moved again just to be safe.nnAnyhow, they were fast and efficient, as noted elsewhere. They also did a great job wrapping a few big pieces of furniture that I had not planned to protect in transit.nnMy only complaint - and it's a big one - has to do with communication. I sought out Anton's specifically because they offered rope hoisting. My last place was a third floor attic with a tiny door and I knew that at least 3-4 items would need to be lifted up to the outside deck and in through a secondary door. I provided Anton's with all sorts of measurements and pictures and was satisfied with the cost per item hoisted.nnProblem is that none of this was communicated to the moving crew. Rather than hoisting my king mattress as had been agreed upon, they jammed it through a tiny door, causing several tears to the outside layer and damage to the the internal coils as well (they folded the mattress in half like a taco in order to make it fit). I was able to stop the crew before they attempted to cram further items through the door, ultimately saving damage to other pieces of furniture. At that point the did get the ropes out and ended up doing a great job bringing the remaining large items up through the deck.nnThe movers noted the damage to the mattress on the Bill of Lading and I spoke with / sent pictures to Anton's management within hours of the move. Their response was to ask me to obtain a quote for the cost to repair the mattress. Not surprisingly, mattress repair isn't really a thing and despite repeated attempts I wasn't able to find anyone who was willing to look at the mattress and assess the damage. Ultimately I ended up paying for a new mattress and tossing the old one. An expensive lesson for sure! Needless to say, I didn't use Anton's for my most recent move!

I got a recommendation for Anton's for a move a few years ago, and they did not disappoint. They were shockingly efficient, all while taking amazing care to protect our belongings during the move. And, the price was better than most other quotes I got.

Anton’s emptied out my storage unit in NYC and brought everything to Boston and they did a great job. I shopped around quotes from three different moving companies and Anton’s was the best by far. The two movers were careful and efficient and scheduling logistics with Tony was really easy. I would definitely use them again.

During a major renovation at our house we used Anton's to move us out and back in. I can't say enough good things about this company. The office staff was friendly, polite and responsive. The moving crew was just amazing! Incredibly polite, friendly, careful, respectful thoughtful guys - the whole crew. They work extremely hard and work as a team very, very well to get the work done quickly. Impressive company, start-to-finish - highly recommended!!

We hired Anton's to do a move from an NYC apartment to a house in Massachusetts. They did an excellent job from beginning to end. All was clear upfront, they showed up right on time and were fast but also very careful, and they delivered everything without any issues. They were very professional (and careful about wearing masks during COVID). Would definitely recommend them!
