Excellent bakery. We were traveling through from Sacramento to Iowa. We stopped and asked which pastries were the recommended favorites.nWe shared an Almond Pastery and an apple strudel I believe. Both were so delicious! Wonderful flavor & perfectly cooked!
This bakery doesn't sell anything that's not delicious. I've tried the glazed donuts, apple turnovers, cheese danishes, creamhorns, and eclairs so far, and they've all been absolutely mouthwatering. Also, I've purchased baked goods from here minutes before they closed for the day, and the quality was on par with what it is after they're first baked. Moral of the story: go check out Carstens because you won't regret it.
Great family owned bakery. They always have the best selection of pastries, breads, cookies and desserts. My weakness is the almond pastries. YUM thank you guys for all your years of great service. I'll be back soon ud83dude42
One of the best bakeries that I have had in Idaho. The glazed donuts are the best glazed donuts by far that I have ever had at any bakery. I would highly recommend trying this place out. You would not regret it.
