Very bad experience. The mismatch between the yelp rating and the actual experience has permanently put me off yelp. I've had at least 100 massages in my life, all over the planet, and this was bottom 10. Guy was more concerned for my modesty than actual massage. Never touched my neck (how do you do a 90 minute massage and never get to the neck?), wore gloves the whole time and mostly ground his forearms into my back. The room was clinical, the music was bad and too loud. The desk staff was nice.

Centrally located, this gem of a place is just what I was looking for. Super caring and friendly staff. My therapist did an amazing job, and I'm looking forward to my next treatment!

The massages we had were very relaxing, so 5 stars to the therapists working there. Great rooms. But this spa doesn’t accept credit for tips, which is crazy (it’s not 1999 anymore, right?). We weren’t warned so got surprised at check-out. We took 10 minutes to walk around the area and get cash from an ATM just to come back to a locked door. :/ The receptionist assured us we had 20 min to get the cash but left early. So now we’ve wasted time and these great therapists don’t have a tip. I just don’t get it.

My boyfriend and I came into the spa for an ending to a lovely 5 year anniversary weekend and Blue Water Day Spa did not disappoint. The front staff were welcoming and kind. We had a couples massage with David and Dave which was one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve ever had. They were very communicative since this was our first time having a professional massage and gave me some excellent advise for my shoulder after. We both walked out relaxed and happy. Thank you so much Dave and David!

Must visit in South Lake Tahoe. Located right by the heavenly gondola. Very professional staff. Ambiance was extremely relaxing. Highly recommended.
