BioSpirit Day Spa

My wife and I loved our treatment here at the BioSpirit Spa. The staff was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were nice and clean. We both received facials and massage treatments that were out of this world. We will definitely return here the next time we’re in South Lake Tahoe.

While on a family ski trip I decided I needed some therapeutic ME time. I did an internet search and found BioSpirit. I saw that they offered spa packages. I did not find a package that fit my needs, so I called to see if they would create a custom therapeutic spa package that fit my needs and my budget: 90 min. Deep Tissue, IR, Foot acupressure, and a detoxing wrap. The day spa is quaint and really peaceful. Toni P. was my practitioner. She has GREAT energy. She asked me about areas I wanted her to focus on. I pointed out 3 areas. Unfortunately, I paid for a deep tissue massage, but what I received was more of a fluffy, soft touch relaxing massage - not Swedish and definitely not deep tissue and she did not address my 3 areas that needed focused attention. I was definitely relaxed afterwards though. Unfortunately, my stiff aching areas were still stiff and achy. I let the owner know that I did not receive the deep tissue that I paid for. I was not offered a refund for the extra I paid for the deep tissue, which was disappointing.

my friends and i took a trip to tahoe to celebrate a birthday and booked a group service kind of last minute. though we weren’t able to all go together due to availability, they were able to stagger us in a manner that still accommodated us. unfortunately, due to covid, the eucalyptus steam room was unavailable during our visit.nnowned by theresa, the spa is small, but mighty. rachel at the front desk is very warm, welcoming, and accommodating. you’re greeted by cool, calming light cerulean walls and turquoise accents, beautiful artwork, and crystals that help amplify the positive energy of the space.nnpart of the group messed up the time and had arrived almost 30 mins late. tho off to a rocky start, they ensured us some great services! our massages were shortened due to being fully booked (no fault of their own), but were so blissful that they felt like the full experience. personally i had coco. LOVED them! highly recommend. their acupressure is on point (literally lol) and melted my stress away. my friends coming out of their massages had equally as blissful experiences. “magic” was how my friend described theresa’s massage. and the birthday girl was shaking at one point (in a good, but appropriate way lol)nnall in all, we will definitely be returning to BioSpirit Day Spa next time we’re in tahoe and certainly look forward to enjoying the eucalyptus steam room too. if it’s anything like we experienced, it’s not something to be missed!

I had a wonderful anti-stress massage by Toni. If you’re a guest at Tahoe Seasons Resort, you get a free hot stone or aromatherapy upgrade. I went with the hot stone and it was amazing! I’ve been looking forward to this massage to enjoy on my honeymoon and Toni did not disappoint!

We had a wonderful couples massage here! It was very relaxing and just what we needed.nIt was our first time going anywhere out of covid and we felt very safe here with the way they are handling the new sanitation guidelines. Thank you! We will be back
