We stayed on Saturday night so it was busier than every other day of the week. We originally had booked a double queen bed (because it was cheaper than a king bed online). When we got there the person at the front offered to switch out the double queen for the king since they had over booked the double queen. This was great because my wife and toddler had no need for a double queen. When we got inside , the room unfortunately smelled like cigarettes. It wasn’t TOO strong however it had clearly been smoked in. We didn’t want to make it an issue since we knew the hotel was over booked so we dealt with it. At night when we turned on the fan, we hadn’t realized that either the fan was kicking in the smell of smoke more, or circulating the smell of smoke more, point being it being unbearable. The problem is we woke up to this issue at 3am. By that point it was pointless to ask to be switched since we were going to get up in a couple hours to head home. When we were checking out, we let the manager Adam know that they should just get the room checked for the smell . Without hesitation this guy without hesitation he compensated us. We loved the hotel, and although the room had the smell of smoke, the staff corrected it. Thank you very much Adam.

It's hard to evaluate any business during this time of COVID19. Like all older properties in the Lake Tahoe area, this one needs upgrade financial backing. Amenities are not quite back to full functionality. The staff seems to work toward cleanliness and customer satisfaction and safety which you as a customer would expect. An important factor in bringing a hospitality business back to a well oiled machine.

A body temperature scanner was available to self-scan as we walked in, and all employees wore masks. Parking was a bit confusing, but the valets were helpful - they offer a valet service, or have access to a lot next to the hotel for free parking that is shared with the casino.nThe suite we stayed in was immaculate, the thermostat was set to a comfortable temperature. Sallie at the front desk was readily available to answer our questions, and laughed with me when I asked her about the koi in the pond.nWe had a wonderful stay, and will come back.

They charged us after we already paid for our room via another site and when trying to talk to them about it they were extremely rude and just said we wouldn’t get our money back, before hanging up while I was speaking. Will never stay here again or recommend this place again.

This place was absolutely great! Access to everything, quiet, safe, the breakfast in the morning was great especially since covid happened its hard to get a hot breakfast at a hotel, we also called the front desk 3 or 4 times last night for being almost out of toilet paper, towels and cups, things like that and they were super nice and sent someone up right away! I really loved the hotel and you can't go wrong with every room in the hotel being a suite!
