Crafted Donuts offers large beautifully decorated donuts. All the donuts I tried here had the same base, a large airy, yeast based donut and then had some icing and toppings added. I think they did have a few smaller regular cake donuts. Pricing is not clearly stated in the store, but varies between $3 to $4, depending on the type of donut you get.nnCookie Butter- This had a cookie butter icing, topped with cream and a Biscoff cookie and my favorite out of all the ones I got.nnFruity Pebbles- The Fruity Pebbles cereal provided a nice crunch to the fruity flavored icing that topped this donut.nnHomer Donut - This wasn't as good taste wise as the pink icing Homer Simpson Donut at Universal Studio (which was a little chewy inside), but it was still fresh and had that signature strawberry flavored icing.nnOreo - This was a chocolate icing donut with an oreo cookie, and cream on top.nnOverall, the donuts here are beautiful works of art and are fresh. I do think the donuts are on the pricier side but they do taste great!
Saw photos on my yelp feed that Arshad H. took of his donuts from here. They looked so good I headed on over the same day. I picked up lunch from Istanbul Grill across the street and dessert from Crafted Donuts. Beautiful creative donuts. Unfortunately they were out of most of the ones I wanted to try with only one left. Good thing was my wife and I got the single ones and split them in half to try a variety. Guy working here wasn't helpful or friendly and seemed bothered to have customers.nnCaramel apple fritter was my least favorite yet it was my wife's favorite. To me it just tasted burnt. It's all I could taste. My wife though loved it. I couldn't anything but burnt dough.nnThe creme brulee donut was the opposite. It was my favorite of the batch and it was my wife's least favorite. Guess opposites do attract! I loved the texture of the crunchy burnt sugar on top of the fluffy yeast donut and the custard inside truly made it taste like it's namesake. This was the only one where we got our own donut since they had plenty. I could have eaten a bunch of these. My wife's complaint is it shredded her gums but I didn't have this issue.nnThe mudpie one my wife wanted to try. I wasn't really interested but I'm glad we got it since it was delicious. This didn't have the cheap waxy chocolate that most donut shops have. It was a rich decadent chocolate that tasted very high quality.nnFinally we shared a maple bacon donut. Again, only one left. Thick high quality smoky bacon on a fluffy maple glazed donut. Delicious!
Five stars for Zeke (haha don't know if its really his name) but he was a gem. When in Montrose and in the mood for breakfast this place will not disappoint. Great cup of coffee, witty service and scrummy waffles ( a combo of yummy and scrumptious, with a dish this good one word will not do.) I asked for extra butter and received a generous amount. This was an after hike meal so I was basically a ravenous wolf. This cute cafe hit the spot, breakfast with two of my besties in a quaint locale, street parking available at the meters and some free parking lots on the next block if you're out of change, and it's a short walk.
Bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich with a mocha cappuccino this morning made for a successful half day at work! Thank you for your outstanding customer service ❣
I live over 2 hrs from this place and go out of my way to get these donuts! Amazing place!
