Awful and unacceptable. The Providence consulate needs to integrate an online appt system like New Bedford. It says to call or email to schedule an appointment and 2 months later, nothing! They are only opened from 9am to 12:00, how is this helpful to anyone.. might as well close the place. Very frustrating.

I have never seen anything like this, first they lost my marriage certificate and never told me anything I kept calling to find out if it was ready when they would answer the phone ( like playing the lottery once every million calls ) They never told me they had lost it I had to keep driving to Providence to find out what was going on. Had to get another marriage certificate ( another $25.00 ) they told me they would call me back in a week it’s been 2 months and no phone call needles to say here I am back in Providence trying to get answers. If you need to get something done do yourself a favor call Boston or New Bedford

They rarely answer the phone, don't call back, people make appointments and still have to wait hours and the machines aren't working half of the time.nnmonths later still waiting for my passport, they keep telling me it's pending! Ridiculous!nn9 months later still waiting for my passport!! Ridiculous!!
