Wow, my old long neck is very happy that I found the Wave Chinrest. No more leaning forward and getting bent out of shape. If you love your neck like I do give it a try. Your neck will thank you.nnI chose the tallest one, and the height of my new rest, and the fact that it comes back to the jaw so that it makes contact all along my jaw when I balance my head, has given me the comfort and stability I was missing with my other chinrest.

I was on a search for a chinrest that was comfortable. I have gone through many chinrests looking for the perfect one. When I came across WAVE I was very excited. I have a wave chinrest that I use while playing for Western Kentucky University's Music program. It has greatly improved my posture because i no longer have to stretch my neck to the instrument but instead it follows the line of my jaw perfectly. This allows it to be much more secure and I now play with even more confidence. I recommend the wave chinrest to every violinist and violist I know, because setup affects everything you do on the instrument. Mine is made of African padauk wood which does not need to be stained and has a beautiful dark reddish color, additionally it doesn't dampen the sound like many plastic or other wood species often do. I can not recommend this product enough. My only complaint is I wish I would have known about it sooner!
