Wide variety of items with most things in stock. Reasonable prices but be aware there are many premium items with premium prices. The store usually has fairly knowledgeable personnel although there are exceptions depending on the shift. Issues? Peak times do not have enough cashiers. Many items have limited inventory counts therefore may not be enough for your projects. Plan to order on line if this is the case. Be aware some pricey items may have very limited warranties. Return policy should be simple with a receipt but this reviewer has had several unwelcome surprises, so please ask before purchasing. Example; Ground fault receptacle was faulty but I did not install until end of project. Over 90 days on receipt. Store refused to exchange. I now purchase electrical at Ace Hardware

Went to Lowe's for a piece of plexiglass. Walked around lost passing at least five employees who ignored me. Finally asked an employee for help. She did help us. When we went to the register (the only one open) the cashier walked away. The nice young lady at returns checked us out. The girl who was handing out candy to cars was wearing short shorts with cheeks hanging out and no mask leaning in the cars. Not thrilled. Won't go back unless i have no choice.

I would like to start out by saying that I LOVE Lowe’s. They get my money more than Walmart, which says a lot. With that being said, I had a “not so great” experience tonight. I went to Lowe’s to buy lumber as I am building a gate at the bottom of me steps to keep my dog off the porch. I went in to buy some 1x4 material that was pressure treated. They didn’t have anything shorter than 10’. Normally, I take a trailer so I know I can transport my material without an issue. I did not do that tonight because I knew that I could have them cut my boards so they fit easier in my vehicle. When I asked the associate, I was informed that they don’t cut pressure treated lumber and haven’t for a year. He added that the saw is old and struggles to cut through anything that is pressure treated. That’s unfortunate considering that a large percentage of their lumber is pressure treated. At first I thought he was joking, but assured me that he wasn’t. I was very disappointed to find out they no longer do this. I just don’t understand how you can be an home improvement store, but your saw doesn’t work to cut through different tires of lumber?

Ms Emily in the plumbing dept. at the Franklin Kentucky store went out of her way to help me resolve a defective faucet issue. She was a pleasure to work with and she saved the day. Great job lowes, wish u guys had fifty more just like her!!!!!
