I’m a 63 year old piano student. I’ve taken lessons three separate times in my life, this being the third. I’m considered, according to my last teacher anyhow, advanced intermediate. While I don’t consider myself to actually be at that level, I am sort of picky about teachers. For me there has to be some sort of connection on a non-verbal level with my teacher. And fortunately I happened to stumble across Emerson (formerly Emily) while searching for teachers.nnEmerson is an amazing, intuitive teacher who senses things about my playing that could lead to problems later and proactively corrects them. She is encouraging and inspiring and quite frankly everything I had hoped for in a piano teacher. At my last lesson I had been frustrated with how my practicing had been going and she immediately related and gave me some tips and insights on how to relate to my practice time in a non- frustrating way.nnI would recommend Emerson for any adult piano student of any level. And of course she teaches all ages. She currently offers Zoom lessons with, I believe, an option for in-person instruction on an as-needed basis. I’m lucky to have found her!

Ms. Emily is an amazing Piano teacher! My daughter is now 7 and has been with Ms. Emily for about a year now. My daughter had never before taken lessons and within a few short month was playing songs AND reading music!! Ms. Emily is very patient and kind. We have now had 3 recitals and have seen all the kiddos she teaches progress in all of the many different musical talents she teaches and it’s truly amazing! Ms. Emily comes highly recommended! A+++.

My daughter and I have been taking lessons with Emily for a year now and we love it! She is a fantastic teacher and so patient and friendly. She makes learning fun and the time flies by. We look forward to our lessons and can’t believe the progress we have made. I would highly recommend the Elbrook Studio for ANY age and any experience level.

Ms Wynn is a very fun and patient piano teacher. We are so glad she is our son's music teacher. He cherishes the time they spend in lessons and she makes learning music fun, even though he is only five years old. He is a bit shy but with her support even performed at her fall recital in front of a room full of families. I highly recommend her for even the most nervous/ shy kids!

Emily is an awesome instructor. My 6 year old started taking piano lessons with her last year. Emily is amazing with kids and a talented musician and teacher. My favorite quote of hers: “Mistakes, I love mistakes!” She is so encouraging and engaging; just what my son needs for learning to play the piano.
