Our system stopped working two weeks ago; we called and were told someone would come out to check it 5 days after we called, but no one showed up at the time scheduled. Someone finally came out 6 days after we first called, needed to order parts and Stanley rescheduled us for the following week. When we called to confirm, they said the scheduled arrival was a different day. No one showed up on the original day. We called FOUR times, left FOUR messages, no one returned our call. Two days later, a service man called us and said he was coming out - we had no idea anyone was coming until his phone call. The system couldn't be fixed. We still have not received a return phone call from customer service. I would NOT recommend this company!! We also had problems with their billing in that we didn't receive their bills until they sent a late notice and then they posted our payment to someone else's account. The customer service stinks!

Working with Stanley Security in the Columbus, OH area is my worst nightmare. I have several burglar, fire, and sprinkler systems which Stanley took over when they bought out Sonitrol several years ago. Stanley is extremely slow to respond and typically does not respond to calls and emails. The quality of work is usually poor. They send out technicians that have no experience on the type of system and run up large labor bills scratching their heads. In addition, they try to bill us for work on systems that have maintenance contracts.

They do terrible work. The equipment is way too expensive, the contract is abusive, and the their service is awful. They only thing they excel at is hounding the customer to pay for their crappy service.nnStay far away from this company
