I took piano lessons with John for two years during college. I was starting up piano after 10+ years of inactivity.nnJohn quickly helped me relearn the basics and move up to more advanced pieces and exercises. He is patient and motivating and can help you choose pieces that are challenging but achievable.nnWhether you're starting piano for the first time or picking it up again, I highly recommend John for your teaching needs.
I took lessons from John nearly 25 years after quitting them as a child. Not only was he patient with me as I got my bearings, he was encouraging and made me feel accomplished. John listened to my musical interests and chose pieces that aligned with those interests, challenged me, and gave me a sense of accomplishment. His attitudes is always encouraging and motivating.
I have learned very much while taking lessons at four hands piano studio. Their style of teaching is understandable and simple in a way that makes it easy to learn. I highly recommend this studio if you are looking for a place to take lessons, both for beginners and advanced students.
She is a great teacher. She is very detail oriented and always finds a way to relate to your point of view as a student. I would highly recommend her studio for piano lessons!
