Safeway is a fantastic company! They moved a Fischer baby grand piano to my home, professionally disassembled and reassembled it all perfectly. I can’t recommended anybody else over them!
I was shocked when the movers came from a different company. They informed me that Safeway was a broker and not actual movers, and that my down payment was a brokers fee. I authorized them to bill $1300, They billed $1400 and the only record of the extra hundred is my card statement. Original estimate $3800 movers arrived loaded truck demanded $2022 and to pay another $2200 at destination.so $3800 became over $5000. I could have bought new furnitures.nnSafeway is a front company that dole out business to other movers who will rob you blind. DON'T USE THEM UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING LIED TO AND ROBBED. Forget about estimates get a flat take it or leave it agreement.nI am so tired of being robbed.nLincoln
Nobody can give me any idea when my stuff will arrive. My delivery date window started 7 days ago. They told me on shorter moves (2 states)nthey delver most of the time within 6 days. Now, they say they legally have 21 days. I just want an idea of when it's coming.
Safeway moving company was referred to me by my parents after their baby grand was moved by Jeff and his crew. The crew members were such gentlemen, respectfull, honest, very fast and efficient! It is rare to find a crew like this. Jeff and his crew get an A+ in my book!! I will definitely use them again and refer them to everyone I know.
We just moved our household, including a piano last Saturday. I can’t say enough about this fabulous team! They worked so quickly, carefully and cheerfully together even though it was a very hot day. Everything was placed where I asked, and even when I changed my mind about where I wanted a sofa, they cheerfully moved it again. They took great care to wrap everything so it stayed clean and also that drawers wouldn’t pop open. No damage to anything. They were so careful with everything. I will highlight recommend them to anyone that needs to move! Thank you Safeway Movers!
