Honestly only been there once, but would definitely go back to check out there stuff. The cashier was really polite. Wasn't a bad experience from my point of view.

I had never been in a Big Lots before - I went in for a specific Halloween decoration that they didn't have and I ended up LOST in their Christmas decorations aisles. I ended up buying Christmas decorations instead and am just THRILLED that I found this place! The items are not fine crystal, but they are quality. I bought the two stag for my mantle and the bling-reindeer for a total of about $50, including tax. Again, these are not "high end, fine china" but they are inexpensive and blemish-free. I will certainly go back.

It was a lower priced store. Now it's pretty expensive. I used to like shopping here but it's to expensive now.

I broke down and bought one. Big Lots! Offered me a discount as a district employee; which I greatly appreciated. They're having a good clearance right now so if I was you I'd get over there to check it out. The sales clerk was awesome. She was such a doll. I was sad about, the receipt not having her information on it so I could give her kudos. Greats shop spot.

I had a horrible experience here. From entering the store until I was "kicked out." I came to the store to return a welcome mat my girlfriend bought, we were sort of confused on where to go since they had all the checkouts closed except for one so I was waiting for that cashier to finish helping a customer so I can ask. Before I was able to, another employee, found out later it was Belinda, asked "What are you waiting for?" And I told her I'm wanting to set up a return. She told me, "You have to go get in line." So I did. While we waited, they opened more cashiers and when finally arriving at one, he stated we needed the receipt for a full refund or I was subject to a 20% fee. For not having the receipt. "This is something new that big lots is doing." Said the cashier. (This is not stated anywhere on the return policy) I looked at the policy online and I found out, I can use my gf's debit to find the transaction, which would then allow me to get a full refund. Which he never suggested for some reason. Anyway, I was able to get my item returned. Phew. All done. My GF and I then shipped around for a few minutes before heading back with just a couple things of candy to check out with. As I was walking up the cashier. To my mistake, I didn't notice the checkouts were all closed up again and I walked past a sign that stated wait here. At that moment, Belinda, now working the checkout, yelled out "YOU HAVE TO WAIT BEHIND THE LINE!" I was so caught of guard that I responded, "Whoa, alright, relax." I stepped back and waited by the sign. Since there was no line anywhere. After Belinda was done with the customer she was helping. I waited for her to call me up. (Since the sign said to do so) she seemed to get annoyed by that and asked me, "Are you done?" Me, sort of shocked at her behavior, asked her the same question back. She then told me, "We can end this right now if you'd like." I then said "Ok, I can go to another cashier." (I noticed another one opened up) "she then took the items I was going to purchase, placed them in a cart behind her and told me, "Have a nice day." I was so confused. I asked if she was kicking me out of the store without letting me checkout with the items I'd like to purchase. She said "yeah." So I pulled out my phone, she said "Go ahead and get your picture." And I recorded the situation from there. I asked her again why she's kicking me out and she didn't even know what to say, then said that I cussed at her. Which I never once did. I asked for a manager and she said she was the manager. So I gave up at that point, realizing she didn't care and wasn't going to let me purchase the items. All in all. A tremendously horrid experience from a place I frequently shopped at. I will never shop at big lots again, I won't even let my girlfriend go there and I will be forever telling the story to all my friends and family and whoever will hear it, that Belinda, the manager of the big lots on 90th South, has NO idea how to execute a proper customer service experience. Not even for a couple peices of candy. 😬
